Meet Jessie. She’s one of the youngest members of the team working at Betts HQ and a funky little one at that! Turning 18 very, very soon (Hello! Paaaarty!), Jess works as a Product Allocator within our Planning Team. What does that mean? Well, being a national retailer, some of our stores have different product requirements, so Jessie helps to get the right type of women’s product to all our stores, as well as making sure they have enough to sell.
Jessie’s a cutie – she absolutely lovessss Disney movies like Bambi and Dumbo (bless her little cotton socks) and spends her weekends tending to her aquarium of exotic fish and coral. Finding Nemo anyone? ♥
Lucky for us, she’s obsessed with Betts – so much so that she drives over an hour to get to Betts HQ everyday! She’s addicted to fashion and is a self-confessed shopaholic… one of her other favourite stores is Forever New.
So what’s Jessie wearing in our next instalment of the 5 Ways to Wear project? It’s our military-inspired lace-up boot, Combat. Massive overseas during their Winter months and continuing to be as popular over there as a Spring Summer staple (touted as THE perfect festival shoe), Betts have a great selection of combat boot styles in-store now!
What we love about this kind of boot is how surprised we were about the versatility of it! We love the way it smacks some grit into a pretty floral, yet still says “girlie” and indie cool. And then, when you’re in the zone, simply pop a pair on with your favourite distressed denims and you’re on the instant path to rock stardom. It’s street cred all the way with this baby.
There’s a great selection of these military-inspired boots coming through Betts stores as we speak, with the pair Jessie’s modelling here, Combat, retailing at $119.99 and are also available in brown. Check ‘em out here!
Oh… and one more thing… up until very recently, Jessie was very much part of the Team Edward movement… however, it seems the temptation of a rippled torso and bulging biceps has seen her allegiances move to Team Jacob… where will she end up?
I just wanted you to know that this post rocks.
